I LOVE IT !
And the 'peripatetics' was the perfect touch.
Aristotle would like that one !

When capitalized, a follower of Aristotle or adherent of Aristotelianism, or

A pedestrian or itinerant, or

When used in the plural, movement or Journeys hither, thither, and yon by itinerant, pedestrian, followers of Aristotle
