Deep in the heart

searching for prey without rest
staring with dead eyes

I have always thought a shark's eyes were "dead"....

I have to agree this is excellent, and having seen a shark up way too close, their eyes are exactly as you describe.  Well done!

Dead eyes...Geesh...
I enjoyed this. I say that there are MANY kinds of sharks out there.
