Calligraphic Thoughts

a poet who thought
his thoughts
had dried
his ink thickened
his feel
less quickened
was wrong

so wrong

not soon enough
come
too soon
gone

come hither
dear poet
come and let
us rehearse
a line of fine
sweet lines
of verse

for I am one
who seeks
your name

so that I may
pleasure in
your gifts,
again

you lope across
lean grasses green
into the blue
that beholds you

in short sweet
verse
oh please
rehearse
the sound of you

in quill
let quiver
sweet sounds
that shiver
up and
down
my spine’s
thin line

and let
me sigh
again

It sends shivers up and down my spine.  You do weave you words well :-)

I look forward to seeing your name and the accompanying work.

"the sound of you. . . "

would be like music to the ears. . .

this is excellent. . .
