Beneath an April Moon
~*Mysteria*~

A moonlit walk along the ocean
brings back the past,
and what was never meant to be.
My heart grows stronger seasoned
over time's unending silence,
some day I will be free.
My past burns like a child's crying,
it will always be part of me.
My future shines like a full moon rising,
which is still to be.
My mind yearns for the light it's finding,
and as if on cue;
My heart longs like a river winding,
beneath this full April moon.

~*~Thanks for the inspiration Marge~*~

Mysteria~

~To catch
you in soft glow
of moon is joy to this
heart of mine-to read your
words of light and hope is to
see you in a different shine
Keep the glowing alive in
knowing inspirational
light looks good
on you~

*Love n' hugs~
This just happens to be a beautiful
piece you've written, dear lady.

This is truly quite beautiful, Mysteria. May the hurts of the past recede and the beauties come forth.  Joyce

Group Hug...WOW!  You guys are the greatest!  I am going to stay up late more often!  I slept in and what a way to wake up - seeing all your   faces shining back at me!  I always get melancholy during a full moon actually, and it makes me wonder sometimes what that is all about.  I was reading Marge's poem as I looked out the window at the same full moon as she had (but that is a whole other poem - he he).  I thought I would write about the fact that full moon's made me very sad and reflective and that tonight was going to be end of that!   Thank you all so much for reading and enjoying it.

And Bill - thank you as someone told me music and art took away from being really poetic or a poet, as those artists had already done all the work for you... so back I will be digging into my graphic world, as it gives me so much pleasure to blend the two, and if it is poetically incorrect that too as of today, means naught!
