Open
Shyly passionate
Desperate soul,
Searching for a place to share her passion,
For words, writing.
Perhaps a home for them in an accepting crowd.
Reluctantly, she began
But as the time grew on they welcomed her.
Acceptance and tasteful feedback.
A new world, the internet,
And she was on the brink of herself then,
Standing on the edge without ever knowing.
And she grew on to make friends.
She grew well and branched out,
And occasionally, she comes back to herself,
Regaining her original composure,
But those moments are fleeting,
For she isn't as innocent as in the beginning.
This, is only the beginning of the story.

I am bound by this, you see...to become Night's sole mistress, and I am jealous in my endeavours for his attention.

If only we could bottle that innocence of when everything was new to us.  That would be something!  Nice portrait here, Temptress.

by the grace of God.
