state of confusion

More

I want more.
Excitement
in voyages
that exhilarate,
with
ever-shifting
sands
to mask
reality's ugliness.

Semi-hidden,
I will always
be
a mystery.

Bare
to naked eyes,
fantasies
grow stale,
then
I am
only perplexed
by me.

The complexity of this deserves one read after another and always see something different with each read..

"...but I can't help but think that you are making a mistake by not letting the woman talk..." (Edward P. Dowd to Dr. Chumley...from the movie, "Harvey"). A lovely poem, Corinne.  Bob

to be with you...
I've tried to hide my passion,
but it's just no use...
piece by piece I lose it
when you walk into the room...
