Wind

I looked it up,
you see,
~ wind ~
and do you say it
wind
or  ~ wind ~
I don’t know
how your mind
works

but it does

or you would
not have
read this far…
so I believe
then
you cast your lot
to stars

as do I,
sometimes,
toward the sky
just because
I can

but I digress,
nevertheless,

let’s move on…

for it is windy
now
blowing,
showing
tribute of might
tearing sight

my eyelids
blink
don’t you think
yours would too?
in the dust
from mighty blue….

skies are dark
as is the night
and lowsome clouds
are the highlight
of nightly news
that sing the blues
of spring,
and bring
such fright…

for some…

for me…
anticipation….

nature!

How I anticipate
your forces
of courses
that lie
before us
a chorus
of rhythm
of might and right
and even blight
that befalls
us all
at times…

nature!

You are the soul
and the goal
of my shoal
and I behold you
in awe!

Nature!

with winsome
string
you pull
the sing from
my breast
or his chest
or her throat
as if you wrote
the very word
unheard….

NATURE!

an awesome
thing
makes church bells
ring
with spring
and step
and incline
of mind

all of this
then sprang forth
from wind
on this spring night
and now
I shall extinguish
all the lights
and say
god speed
then say,

good night

Very nice one.  I like the simplicity of your words flowing down the page much like the wind cascades over us at times.

All writing comes
by the grace of God.

Your work carried me through on its own wind current.

Well done!

The Wind winds
Round my face it binds
Humidity's high
the dampness clings
but it's face is warm
and spring scents swarm
So I welcome the thoughts
Of you it brings

Thank you all so very much, for hearing the song, even in the storm....
