Within my breast caged
a panther by these names known
restless relentless
pacing questing silent rage
trying the walls forever.

Aging graying mouth
how softly you pad about
some dreams remembered
an old cat flailing night bars
seductive sleep but beckons.

Awesome poem and the music was exceptional, as was the cat. The music was a purr-fect match!   Kate
