There is a difference

It’s funny how you jump for joy
Every time you buy a new toy
Your mind lifts into stimulate.
Your body shifts to percolate.

You just can’t wait to get it home
Within your room and all alone
And where in miserly fashion
Tingle in a swell of passion.

So alive for just a moment
Full of spicy live enrollment
Just bristling in the thrill of fine
Knowing that it’s mine, all mine.

A release of satisfaction
By a single selfish action
You bought a little fantasy
A teaspoon full of ecstasy

For some it’s just a fire fly
For some it will forever lie.

New anythings create such a sparkle....the joy in having them, though, is to make use of them each day, just as if it were the very first day we came to find it in the first place....

so no wrapping that iron around a tree, Sy!

I agree with Liz, those last two lines were superb.
