The Other Side Of The Mountain
~*Marge Tindal*~

The other side of the mountain
seemed firmly out of my reach
Yet climbing with anticipation
I sought to scale her peaks

I felt it might be impossible
to set foot on the other side
Clearly an effort so difficult
from me it seemed to hide

One step at a time I endured
ever-mindful of the task
The sunny side of the mountain
was to be mine at last

Oh, the beauty that filled me
when standing on her side
Not realizing I was looking at
the side I had just climbed

Loved this m.o.m.s.!!! and ya did it again...I was just thinking about a quote I read earlier---"some people spend a lifetime trying to move the mountain they should be climbing!" You are amazing!

Dani~
Bottom line here is -
I LOVE sharing with you !

Mysteria~
Sometimes our heads are in the clouds
while our feet are still firmly planted on the ground.
These are the best of times !
*smile*  Thumbody loves ya' !

Sudhir~
I appreciate your thoughts, my friend.

SuthernGal~
You got that right, sweetie !

Joyce~
Half the joy in life is found in looking back to where we've been -
The other half is gonna end up behind us too !
Great view, huh ?

Serenity~
*Hugs*
I think we 'move' our mountains
one pebble at a time -
Makes it easier to enjoy getting the job done !

Jill~
Thank you for letting me know you enjoyed it.

Karilea~
*Hugs* right back at ya', gal !

RoseBud~
And the true beauty is in the climb itself !

*Thank you all for your considerate thoughts on this one.
