April Spring

Coming from each branch, green can now be felt
We’ve rolled deep in Yosemite’s valley
The snows atop the side begin their melt
No thought of time spent, two hearts grew ‘palsy’

No thought of fear, we trusted the park’s beauty
To further rouse our passion’s unmet hour
To find our paradise I felt my duty
So all the western maps my eyes did scour

Within our tent that night we found each other
As gurgling stream beside us lulled our sleep
Dawn woke our doubt wondered the bother
But drowsy kisses piled quickly in a heap

Were we where we should be gave us a tiny flail
But as we left we knew – we passed the ‘Bridal Veil’

The first duty of love is to listen.

What a beautiful rendition of a most lovely place....you've captured not only the grandeur of the park, but that of a true love....

Wonderful!

it's kinds fun - when one can be almost conversational in a sonnet form - and speak unspoken thoughts - and sneaking in a premier park was frosting = I'm glad you liked - thank you
