This has such a gentle feel to it, just loved it!  I don't think you need to 'past-tense' tipped as well as toed, I think tip-toed is more correct.

I hope I've said this in the same type of whisper with which you spoke your poem.  Lovely.

Lovely - simply lovely -

I am concieving a challenge - to "chain" these gems - each willing contributor - adding three 5-7-5 verses they percieve as appropriate - creating an "epic" Haiku - or senryu as they see serving to 'carry the thought on' -

What think you?
