One Lost/One Found I made a new friend today just about the time an old one left It seems to be the way I've lots of trouble understanding the net The demands are hard for me I sometimes believe these words to mean real But the problem seems to be I expect too much and can't get the feel I lost a friend today He packed up his words and went on his way There's a lesson here, I'm sure as one leaves, one comes to knock on your door And grateful I shall be that someone is there and would like to know ME No words of comfort are there any better than having a friendship to share I lost a friend today... Maureen **while researching an old poem, one of my first on line, I ran across this one...which, I was thinking, many I am sure have encountered....and thought I would share... Odd how it always seems to happen that way, isn't it? All writing comes |
