Is that dew on the lonely leaf
its red rose         black   in death
faded petals crinkled  with sorrow
thorns  keeping    the lover at bay   and the loved within
Do you dare   touch her ?
.I dare
yes I do
to stare    and touch
And oh  how much
I desire
I do
The loved  sees  only of her thorns
Doubting  worth  so true .
Brave one ,once pricked
Blood   droplets  on her      do.

Roses are always loved, from seedlings, to buds, to full bloom, and wither.  They are always loved and remembered if for nothing more than their existence and passing ... which, after all, is the essence of life.

Live for love. Without love, you don't live.

This was very interesting.  I loved the images.

"The loved  sees  only of her thorns"

A fine line that is so true for so many.  Sometimes it takes another to prune them from the flesh so we may discover the beauty therein.  Thanks for sharing this very emotional piece.  Peace!
