~*~ Purpose ~*~

~*by Mysteria*~

As I breathe in echoes,
Sitting in stillness
Stripped of masks altering
Serenity surrounds me.
I listen to a grain of sand
As it drifts gently
In life’s hourglass.
Metronone of mind
A new awakening
enlightening
My vision quest
Propels a deliverance
And cleansing of soul.
For in this nakedness
Truth, and enlightenment
I am one with the Universe.
It is here and now that I
Understand myself
Accept all that I am
And will become.
For in this humble state
And only then
Can I completely
Know my purpose
To give and receive

I enjoyed this one very much.  There is so much truth in your words, my friend.  Wonderful writing!

All writing comes
by the grace of God.

I dont think I have ever reached this level of serenity ...
dont think I can quiet the voices in my head long enough *S*
very very cool and spiritual poem..Mysteria
wonderful imagery and mystic essence with in your words.
I love Terry Sods work too...have a couple prints in my Native American Collection.

It's such a clever innocence with which you show myself to me
As if you know how it feels to never be who you wanted to be
