I'm Not The Leaving kind |

Somedays frustration builds And its easy to say things in anger That are hard to take back So things escalate to a danger point A point of no return. And when that point is reached When love becomes hate Or worse yet...indifference Lives are changed forever Dreams become tear splattered dust. I'm not the leaving kind I dont run, and I dont hide When times get tough And its hard to remember The reason we are together. Real love is worth the struggle Even when it takes years to find And theres bound to be mistakes We may have to take two steps back For every one we take forward. But what a dance that will be A waltz upon the sand Hands clasped tight against the world While we learn what it takes To make you and me...us. And if by chance we do this right There will never be a moment Never any doubts Because I'm telling you now I'm not the leaving kind. |

Balladeer...some things are worth waiting for...worth struggling for...and if you dont stick around thru hard times how are you ever gonna know? Thanks sp...I thank you...this is a hard one for me... Packratmike...well sometimes you have to fight for what you believe in...even if its a passive waiting fight ya know? Thanks Temptress...sometimes it doesnt work...but you have to try...it always takes two tho...one battling alone wont win the war...thank you Sudhir...got my dancing shoes on...just waiting on my partner now...where ever he may be...thank you James...then thats HIS loss...I hurt, I cry, I rant and rave, and sooner or later I get over him...and when I get brave enough I look for someone who isnt the leaving kind...they are out there...hugs sweet friend Kathleen...as have I...pushed to that point and beyond...but it wasnt me who walked out...HUGS sweet sis suthern...only because you havent found a man worthy of your spirit and your beauty little one...he is out there Jill...leaving is the easy way out...and our society today just makes it easier... |

absolutley awesome... i was gonna try an tell you which lines were my favorites, but by the time i got to the end, i had almost everything you'd written! i love it... it makes so much sense for me, it's scary. beautiful! You gotta love livin, cause dyin's a pain in the ass. |
