~*~ YEARNING ~*~

~*by Mysteria*~

Wrapped only the yearning quilt of our love,
My fragile, musk-scented body warming, I sigh,
Like a purring kitten softly being stroked.
Only fleeting minutes ago, I stroked your silken hair.
Now words of love come to me like shooting stars.

~ * ~

Outside the sky is ablaze in swirls of fire and passion,
Inside one flicking vanilla candle illuminates my love,
A gentle breezes softly dances in love's light and whispers,
Reminding me of our passion, your molten lava touch,
So softly it flowed, exploring me in shivers.

~ * ~

On one black satin sheet, so sensually smooth.
Fresh, cool, seductive, scented by a fresh meadow.
Melodies had played in our minds like a symphony,
First the strings, the woods, and then percussion.

~ * ~

I smile again as my mind's eye records words of my love for you,
Guided along as water flows by the scented candlelight,
Recording our romantic days, romantic nights.
Urgent to make it indelible somehow in my mind forever,
Savage but gentle memories I best preserve in my mind.

~ * ~

Erotic thoughts now control and direct my memory,
As I recall your urgent and well-placed exploration.
Through my valleys, caverns, and finally to my core.
Passion erupted in an explosion, with a deafening thunder.
Terra cotta flesh on flesh melting, ordained as one.

~ * ~

I trace my breast and I can almost feel you,
A wisp of wind feels like your cool breath,
As I shiver in my impish thought's delight.
Sanity forgotten for just one single instant.
Unwillingly, I look upon your sleeping grace.

~ * ~

Your deep, ebony, chocolate eyes are closed and yet...
They are penetrating, beckoning and drawing me in.
They rest on my nakedness, savoring, now I am on fire.
I can feel your hungry, passionate, yet gentle touch.

~ * ~

I look at every inch of your nakedness with pure love and lust.
Your smooth, sinewy body tickles my heart and soul.
I close the journal of love I write for you in my mind,
And like liquid, I slide in beside you.
I sigh, as I think of us, it is never enough!

~ * ~

And as I slowly blow out the candle, you wake.
I wonder when I see you smile if you too were dreaming?
Feeling the need of our relentless passion?
I can't help myself; I smile that impish grin you love,
And softly begin to blow whispers of love in your ear.

~ *~ sigh ~ * ~

Sensual remembrance, the fullness of life, of love's delight. May you enjoy memories and live to create new ones.

Truly a work of art painted with the fire of passion.  Very romantic writing.  Sigh . . .

There are so many different facets to loving someone...and you have touched on them all.

This is very beautiful.......

Marge - Thank you I am glad that you liked this one.

Lone Wolf - He is long gone but his memory lingers on.

Balladeer - Thank you but I am sure if memory serves me well, there were more ways than those to love someone to "death", and they were all fun I might add.
