Numb

No moth to butterfly, nulled of liberty
I know not the touch of God's hand
no sweep across my spirit from His paintbrush of beauty
to soar nevermore across the land,
dissapointment, heart of regret lowly
is all my soul shall ever know
'tis the plan of destiny, unholy
these seeds of woe I sow,
I no longer have use for this emotion -
the poison breath of pain
those who are worthless, sip of death's potion,
need be numb, no chain of strain

His love is unconditional.  Just ask and all will be forgiven.  There is a lot of emotion hidden in these words.  I hope you find peace.

All writing comes
by the grace of God.

Melissa: Mighty strong writing here, and the last line says it all - it is all about choices, and if you weave woe into your soul, it will be surrounded by dark.  It is all about choices.  This was a fantastic write, I applaud you on this one.

Beautifully written, yet lingers a sense of shame that binds and regrets that stifle. Hopefully this is your muse writing, rather than what is happening to you. Wishing you peace and fulfillment.
