I really hate days like this
days without you
days spent dreaming of your kiss
days of feeling blue
where being with you is my only wish

you're so close and yet so far
on days like this
do we see the same morning star?
do we have the same wish
to be together as we are?

we each go through the day
on days like this
but the one thing I want to say
is that it would be bliss
if with your heart mine could stay

the thing I hate most
          about days like this
days without you
is that days like this,
          dreaming of your kiss

turn into nights like this . . .

the day..the night..it all turns and turns...a never ending process and before we know it we've concentrated so much on what we don't have that we forget what we do have. So, we try to smile, try to breathe, and even write a little poetry somewhere in the middle of it all. Life is wonderful, isn't it supposed to be? Sorry for the rambling...Beautiful poetry from your Sven Pen.

We're sorry..this heart has been d-i-s-c-o-n-n-e-c-t-e-d. Should you like to hold the line we'll be glad to reconnect you..

I know that loneliness.  Written with a very quiet and gentle voice, Sven.  Just beautiful.

Goodness, such a delightfully easy writing style. Soothing and soulful. Truly enjoyed this.

What a beautiful melody this one has, sven.  I could feel the longing in the words.  Excellent as usual.
