When dawning gilds,
...far eastern skies,
and morn outpours,
...to night's demise,
bright stars of night,
...to heavens banished,
soft glow of moon,
...by Helios vanquished,
upon a far,
...and distant peak,
first rays of sun,
...high mountains seek,
as comes new day,
...'cross landscape creeping,
nature rising,
...from her sleeping,
betwixt the night,
...and light of day,
displays the bloom,
...of dawn's bouquet.

The first place to see the sun each morning (from within the shores of the USA) - Standing atop Cadillac Mtn. in Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, Maine... I've actually only been there once, but it's a breathtaking and awesome feeling.... This poem is superb, my friend...
