The Reasons Why

Balloons and ice cream cones,
sand dollars and castles
washed away in the tide;
misery loves company,
happiness was made for you and I.
Blue skies and thunderstorms,
babies, children,
laughter and tears...
damned if we didn't forget
the reasons why.

I liked this until I got to the end, it was very sad

Jim, I agree with Rose above but knowing you I knew this was not going to come to an expected end or even a hopeful or hoped for end...lol. Glad I found you at last. Nice read. Panne
