Imagine me,
here,
having no fears.
Making decisions,
upholding my life.
What a good thought,
for me to have!
Imagine me,
here,
alone and without you.
Thinking clear,
without tears.
Proud of myself.
What great thing,
for me to have!
Imagine me,
here,
happy with myself.
Not writing about you.
Finally smiling,
content with my life.
What a fantastic feeling,
for me to have!

A quarter of a century must pass, for the writer to understand what and why he writes.

I really loved this! Whenever a woman can stand on her own two feet and do well, I'm always in the background saying, "Congrats!"

Yes, yes, YES!   Healing, beautifully.      You always seem to hit my moods right on.
