Restraint

I wonder what kind of restraint is built-in
If I can withhold what I feel
If circumstances allowed themselves
For you to be with me in real...

I wonder sometimes, when I stop in the mall
In Victoria's Secret to try
Those satins so sensual, silken to touch
Whose watching, from distance with eye...

I wonder what happens, if you are with me
In restraint, would we each lose control
Modeling for you, with my modesty shown
Would my virtues be swallowed in whole...

I wonder if ever, I'd become more bold
Allowing desires to reign
Would I still be me, would you love me the same
As I'm mysted by all I sustain...

~Wynter

I think as women we all have asked that question at one time or another.  Nice one Wynter~

This kind of thoughtfully melancholy--but don't be afraid to show yourself--it just may be your turn for the spotlight! Go for it! Always! Hope you are well my friend!

Wynter, lovely poem.
I could be restrained but it would have to be by people in white coats.
