When we give something to another we don't expect it to come back However, when we give our love do we expect it to come back When we lend something to another we expect it to be returned When we lend a helping hand do we expect it to be returned So from now on, do I give a helping hand and not look back And do I lend my love to be sure it is returned |

I'm loving the way you weave my mom....beautiful thoughts and great writing...give it or lend it...either way...when it's from the heart and given with the purest intentions...it always comes back...sometimes in ways we least expect it~ Love you~ |

When we truly give our love, we offer all we have and are... with no real expectations, no conditions set... only hope that such giving will be reciprocated. *S* And when we lend a hand, we're instantly getting the satisfaction of knowing we've mattered to someone we care for... no further return on our investment is needed when so blessed. *S* And can you tell you made me think? LOL. That's a rotten thing to do to a blonde on a Friday afternoon... (but I'll forgive you cause I enjoyed your poetic questions *G*) |

Anyone who gives with the expectation of having it returned has missed the true meaning of giving, I think...but what do I know?  |

Balladeer, you are so right. When I give something it is with the idea that it is gone. Something always comes back...... good or bad. Thanks for the answer. |
