Southern lullabye
By: Jesse Jaymz

D                                 G
Sitting here on this lonely greyhound bus
D                                       A
thinking of the one i miss so much
D                                                      G
i look out at the stars as i turn out the light
D                 A                  D
wishing i was back at home tonight

D                                          A
Goodnight, my little baby goodnight
D                                                A
i wish that i was there to hold you tight
D
i just want you to know
G
how much i love you so
D                               A      D
so good night my little baby goodnight

D                                               G
just crossed the mississippi state line
D                                                       A
And i'm about to brake down and start cryin
D                                                  G
i am sorry for all the hell i put you threw
D                                       A                    D
but its one more gig and i'm coming home to you

D                                          A
Goodnight, my little baby goodnight
D                                                A
i wish that i was there to hold you tight
D
i just want you to know
G
how much i love you so
D                               A      D
so good night my little baby goodnight

D                                                      G
I wish that there was something i could do
D                                               A
to show you that my love is really true
D                                             G
so dry those tears and try not to weep
D                                        A                    D
Just close your eyes and i'll sing you off to sleep

D                                          A
Goodnight, my little baby goodnight
D                                                A
i wish that i was there to hold you tight
D
i just want you to know
G
how much i love you so
D                               A      D            G
so good night my little baby goodnight
D                            A              G         D
sleep tight my little baby sleep tight...

Follow me everything is alright
I'll be the one to tuck you in at night
And if you want to leave I can guarantee
You wont find nobody else like me

How beautiful, Jesse. this is the kind of writing I like to read from you, so soft and romantic.  Keep 'em coming.

With the word, I am mighty, with the pen I am free..
