Belle

Oh my beautiful Michelle
I knew you not so well
as time and circumstance
perchance will tell.
Twas not so much that I was deceived.
More like my heart received
only those feelings and desires
it chose to believe.
While rejecting all the warning signs
that requested my presence numerous times.
Thru time I travel to this place
where I still seek and desire
the smile upon her face.
Yes time seems to have a story to tell
and I still find myself under the spell
of the sweet and sexy belle
I thought I knew so well.
The belle Michelle.

James,  I liked this. And the way you brought the beginning in again at the end. I thought these lines were very astute.

Twas not so much that I was deceived.
More like my heart received
only those feelings and desires
it chose to believe.

Good job. Panne
