In my remorse of day
Reigns a pouring truth
That in the pale of night
There falls my ugly youth

May I accept somehow
A life filled with God
And be spoiled by heart
And ever spared the rod

I know, I know nothing
Professed by empty world
So I look within myself
And into darkness hurled

I step away from comfort
And leave my inner zone
That ever kept me safely
Although I was alone

In my sadness, saving
Unbinding lenghts of rope
Tied in knots of new love
Awash in blinding hope

Wayoutwalt....

Within my heart "there reigns a pouring truth
...a life filled with God.."
Thus "I look" to find "myself..
Awash in blinding hope."

I like your thought.   Bob

Certainly speaks to our inward journey and search for happiness.

This is very insightful, walt.
You know a lot.
I liked it.
Thanks.

Walt, this is eloquent, hopeful reflection. Very nicely done!

Sweet Walt,
I hope your tone is experimental and that you truly are not feeling like this. This was wonderfully done as your work always is. I hope you've been well.
