misty morning

early morning today I rise
a veil of mist hung from the sky
hidden from view things unseen
on a carpted bed, lush and green
ahead the fog limiting my sight
traveling slowly to overcome the fright
soon the sun shall come to burn off the mist
to show me things I have missed
I let my heart lead me on my way
as the path of life gives me the day
alone in this journey I am strong
taking me to the place that I belong

This is very nice--- speaks to me of beginning a journey with trepidation but also with hope and courage--- very good imagery also.

Lost in a fog? No, not "lost" I think.
The fog can be comforting, in a "wrap you up and hug you" sort of way, no?
