My Heart Beats to an English drum,
No slow thump to spoil my fun.
Rata tat tat & then & then some!!!

Up in the morning at the crack of dawn,
rolling over the day spawned.
One full belly,
roll that meal,
let 's get real.
A new day is born;

Light in the eye just enough,
burning yearning, learning,
disappears in memories huff & puff.

Yes the drums still there, hey?
what is this other stuff!!
Interesting or not,
coming my way.

Commandeering everything to fit the beat.
not slowing, but speeding to find the link.
The extra thought that enables me to think.
