The scent of dirty cloths drifts
as the lazy dog turns in circles
the red rimmed man has tired eyes
watching for his fate
which settle on my hands
that are filled with the devils work
even though they hardly stop moving
his eyes never waiver
as the noose cracks

Ouch! Punch is right!
You see it coming, but it's too late, like a finely tuned left hook!
