Reflections in the mirror startle me so.
I search for the person I should know.
Glaring back at me is a worn out figure.
Wishing for the day that once held vigor.

Trying times have come again,
Each situation brings its own new pain.
Understanding it all, I try my best.
With my heart and soul, I try to invest.

My love was true but, she had to go.
To take care of things, I did not know.
I wish her well and send my love
I hope for peace from up above.

Her love for me, I’ll never doubt,
Maybe one day she’ll search it out.
As time goes by and seasons range,
The love in my heart will never change.
