state of confusion

To envision you,
most difficult
under controlling forces-
of circumstance
and restraint,
I try
not to think of
chocolate
when you speak,
nor to feel
the weight of your hair
when you run your fingers through it,
not to see
the compassion inside
eyes sweet and deep,
because
it might be
an imagining
of closeness
and
this liaison
would be
impossible
at best.

Is it not the impossible liaisons that are most fun to think about.... Red

Cor,
Beautiful work you have here.

What can I say!   I wish I had written this!

Lovely.

I've dreamt of impossible liaisons at times... damn fine dreams they were too.

To envision or not to envision... Such a question perhaps cannot be answered... Nice one, Corinne...
