Alone she lives, yet not alone
In the middle of nowhere she makes her home
Possessed of all traits of beauty uncommon
It takes a stranger’s eyes to find them
Someone who fills the cup complete
That, is always no small feat
She lives to shout out from the roof
The time is near, she is given proof
All she has to do to take to the wind
Is summon all there is of strength within
And listen to the forces and powers that be
Reclaiming all that was lost of her humanity

PK, very interesting - I enjoyed reading this but got stuck a few times on the beat or meter. I thought of a butterfly's life when I read this the 3rd time until the last line. Panne

I know Panne...i was trying something different, a little personal perhaps, and trying not to worry(obviously *L*) about meter and flow. Thanks.

To fly free.......the depths of this are beautiful. I do believe you've a talent for seeing within people, and painting them beautifully, from the inside out, with words.

I applaud! You've definitely the eyes of a poet.

No, I have to agree, you have a remarkable insight of looking into someone, reading their soul carefully without their ever knowing you have even watched them, and then withdrawing quietly, just so you can return with a gift to open their eyes.

Well done Sir.

Reminds me of the song "Turn Around [Look at Me]"
