Perched upon a seat of high hope
I measure my barren heart's scope,
Bound and tied by life's twisted rope
I see gloom through my telescope!

Sad music plays in forlorn tunes
As my castle of dreams lay strewn,
Shadows sway in mournful swoons
While I hide in deserted dunes!

Wolves dance under a moonless sky
As my spirits break down and die,
Eyes stare at unlit paths and cry
While my river of love runs dry!

Ghosts languish in my lost lagoon
As my boat drowns in black monsoon!

.!.

Sudhir, may your poet's pen never run dry! I truly enjoyed this

Sudhir--This is so telling of the mood...the imagery so sad and dark...but, I'm still glad to see you...here is a hug and smile to cheer you up.... ((((((((hug)))))))))

life's twisted rope ~ just one of many stirring phrases.

You have expressed a consuming sorrow quite vividly, Sudhir, and in its poetic naming, perhaps a bit of strength to you? Many kind thoughts your way, friend. It is so good to read you again. (o:

What wonderful images you use to portray your feelings! I felt the despair in that black monsoon, but remember monsoons are only for a season. I wish you a rapid return to that seat of high hope.

Sudhir when you reach you darkest hour remember that just because life doesn't go exactly the way you desire or expect it to that doesn't mean that it will not ultimately go in your favor...as long as you are learning lessons and doing whats right happiness will eventually come to you...I believe this totally...James

Nathan, Thanks for coming by...

James, I would like to believe what you believe too, but my friend, the going is quite difficult to perceive the thoughts. I guess I have to force myself to hoping for the best... If I push myself hard towards it, maybe one day the sun will shine... thanks, my friend

Marge, Thank you so much, my friend for your words of hope...

Regards to all,
Sudhir
