Don’t Let Her Perish!

Sifting through time
Mother Natures prime
Let it fall from hand
Back to blessed land

Marveling at she
Question not her plea
Asking merely
To be treated dearly
The essences of her which
Given without a hitch

Have you wondered ever
If she will be forever?
Do you have the means
To intervene?
To prevent destruction
And bless her reproduction

Is it in your power?
She’s dying more and more
By the hour!
If but for a minute stop and
Take in visions of Her before
We carelessly put to an end
For man too will be dune for!

It doesn’t take much
Just be gentle in touch
With the beauty all around
For in Her wisdom so profound
Can be gleamed and cherished
Don’t let future generations
Question “us” as to why?
She perished!
