Inspired by Janet Marie

Whispers of my Heart

Within the ramparts of depart…I leave my heart and all it’s parts.
In whispers of a hearts declare…my ghost and all that lives in there.
Remember the early timber…not the last of my December
Think of me in total toll…that loved you with my heart and soul

You were my fire of desire…my angels and my choir
The rivers of creative core…all of this and so much more.
And though I did not tell you so…this very thing I would you know.
That deep inside my very soul…you were my love and aim and goal.

Forgive my mental veils and shrouds…my sailing off into the clouds.
My searching for the golden fleece…my journey into war and peace.
And though I went full circles sigh…there never was a where or why.
For I have found within my fold…all the answers all the gold.

You were in true my only treasure…my gold and silver and my pleasure.
The dreams that lit my phantoms way…the sun and warmth of every day
The wind that fluttered in my sail…the clear that cut the mist of veil.
Stood the staging of my heart…forgave the rage of searching’s part.

I looked afar for what was near…a foolish search it does appear.
For in the end I came to know…that heaven lay in your bestow.
And secrets of the universe…were nothing more then full reverse.
And love is all the gold to weave…that will not turn to dust and leave.

So thanks again the love you bore…May God grant you as much and more.
This is the apples core naive …with humble thanks for love received.

OH MY ... OH SY!!!
what an amazing way to begin my day...
Sy-babes..you just paled the sunrise's beauty in compare to this...
and that any part of this came from my poem makes me heart smile..
you took the premise of my sad little poem and lit it up with your gracious vision and wisdom encompassing a lifetime of lessons learned.
Sy this is so lovely in its gift of spirit, heart and soul.
You leave a legacy of wisdom and poetic grace amoung many other gifts....
dont ever doubt that.
and to quote you now....
you've etched yourself on my sands of time. and I wish I had wrote THIS!!
I could not pick fav lines like I usually do...
they are all too special and should remain as one......
but one line in particular defines you ...

"For I have found within my fold…all the answers all the gold."

indeed you have sweet gentle poet...indeed..
and if we read enough of your poetry and inhale your wisdom...
we just might as well.
*winkiewinkie*
love you Sy,
me

oh you speak to me in riddles
and you speak to me in rhymes
my body aches to breathe your breath
your words keep me alive

Seymour~
When 'inspiration' lifts you this high -
I'm sure you sprouted wings !

Do you know how lovely this is ?
I hope you do ...

'And though I went full circles sigh…
there never was a where or why.
For I have found within my fold…
all the answers all the gold'

You have to be very, very pleased with this beauty ...
I know I am.

Sy,
This is one of the loveliest poems I have ever read or ever will, for in it more truth from the heart than I could ever write.
