This one is dedicated to my dearest friend, Irish Rose.  She is one special lady and I am honored to call her my friend.  She deserves every word and so much more. I am proud to post this for you, sweetheart. I think it is about time everyone knew how wonderful you really are.  I love you, Kathleen.

You’re my forever friend
We’ll stay together to the end
No one can break our ties
For us there will be no good-byes

Our bond has already endured
The charm of evil’s seductive lures
We conquered them on that day
Finally putting fear at bay

We will walk hand in hand
As we explore friendship’s land
Admiring the flowers there
Like the rose that’s so very rare

This garden will be in full bloom
Yet will always have enough room
To spread out encouraging growth
Serving as sanctuary for us both

You are ageless and very wise
Beautiful as a new sunrise
Offering unconditional love
Like our Savior in heaven above

I thank Him for you every night
An angel here in plain sight
Guiding me along life’s path
Shielding me from Satan’s wrath

Forever friends we shall be
Me for you and you for me
Our happiness will be amplified
As our blessings begin to multiply
