(In response to Marina's challenge- /pip/Forum7/HTML/000342.html )

A man lives long, but he lives short
A life is lost, so we must gain
Once at rest, with eyes closed tightly
Not to open once again
A man has lived, so he must lie
Beneath the flowers of his past
No more binding, crying slightly
One more tear to be the last
A man loves not, the man must smile
A love so far away from there
And reaching outward, nothing finding
Curling fingers in despair
A man loves long, for what he wants
For something ever far away
Reality, the demon binding
In our world a man must stay
A man falls dead, for he has lived
Walking far too long, too swift
Nothing worth it, fighting futile
Here he lies, in love adrift
A man falls dead, but he can laugh
It echoes on the wind, each year
And if you answer him with laughter
Pray that somehow, he will hear

Carly- Thanks kiddo! Ya know I love you!
Elizabeth- Your praise means a lot! It was fun to do... I'd like to see more of you try this out!
Dee- Thank you. This just might be the challenge you asked for, to get you dusting off your pen.
Sunshine- Thanks for your praise. And I already do have one of those.
