What is this feeling -
Almost palpable -
alone when I didnt ask it -
The silence - friend or foe?

A time of rest you say,
or time of sorrow, wondering.

I feel.
I feel a heaviness of life.
A weariness of action,
A weariness of strife.

Your pep talks make me angry,
Though some how they must be true.
What I really wish is someone ...
To pink away my blue.

IS
that someone
YOU?

Very nicely said, and I hope you find that pink to take away your blue.

I'll agree. Great poem, and welcome to PIP.

I appreciate you responses and welcomes. I hope I can contribute now and then. Thanks again.

lives of great men all remind us
we can make our lives sublime
and departing leave behind us
footprints on the sands of time
