Fluted Edges ~*Marge Tindal*~ On fluted edges of the wind comes the voice of ancestral friend~ Notes held tightly in fisted glove released upon rememberance of peace and love~ Across the chasms of yesterday sweet notes of recall come to play~ Singing wind from off the plains reaches me in your sweet name~ Touching elemental notes sung in verses that you wrote~ Caress upon my heart with sigh the wind blows gentle spirits by~ I hear the voice of each sweet song Softly, I now sing along~ *Thank you, my Karilea friend~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
