I wrote this after listening to Parker’s beautiful recitations. They planted an idea in my head and this is the result.
Don’t worry Parker, I’m not infatuated, just impressed.

Your voice
so soft
calls to me.
Every nerve
every fibre
waits.
Waits to see
the man
behind the voice.
The man
behind
the sweet words,
that torture me
with ecstasy.

I wish you every happiness and may you always have the best of the good things in life. a brand

This is soooo nice.....what am I doing up at 4:51 a.m. in the morning!

I love poetry but this is ridiculous!

Dee, thank you. This was very sweet. I was kinda hoping on the infatuation idea.
hmmmm, i'll have to do a few more recitations maybe that'll help.

Dee,

This is a fine tribute to Parker's ability as a writer and a wonderful poem, my friend.

Thanks Janet. With a voice like that it's not hard to admire the poetry. Nothing better than to hear it from the poet himself.
As for the new pic...I can't see it!!! All I get is the old one! (throws herself down in a tanty!)

Thanks Janet.

I had to go digging to remember. I'm must be getting old to forget such a sweet poem for me.
I reread all the replies, I just love that
line you said (throws herself down in a tanty)
