Perhaps this isn't quite what was intended for the challenge, but, this is definitely a beautiful place to which I've been and can describe quite precisely...

a shadow shed on the side of the mountain...
the clouds overcast now rendered vulnerable...
the colors of the rainbow no longer a blend...
walls of stone fast made moldable...

rivers now flowing from south to north...
the break of dawn enduring the entire day...
the radiance of your sun from within shining forth...
your love through whispers of wind here to stay...

time standing still, stepping aside for quietude...
loneliness taking its place, making way for companionship...
promises singing aloud, illuminating the pacified mood...
uncertainty banished from sight, clearing the air for passion’s trip...

delicate rhymes hinting of your delight...
long-sought-after peace of mind in my possession...
absolutely no end to this tranquility in sight...
simply grasping the rest of our lives--without question.

-kh 03/24/01

to be with you...
I've tried to hide my passion,
but it's just no use...
piece by piece I lose it
when you walk into the room...
