Crayola Sunset
~*Marge Tindal*~

Melting magenta brushes lavender-laced edges
of alabaster puffs heading home
Westward across lazuline skies
in crimson-crinolined cumulus

Hush of blush
falls into the night
sprinkling sparkling cerulean
starlight softly upon the pillow
of satin indigo in velveted softness
against a backdrop of welkin evening
In amaze of haze she-moon appears
draping beams of radiance in silver
splendor across gentle shoulders
basking lovers in adornment
Passionate purple kisses
melt into dawn

~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~

"In amaze of haze she-moon appears" my favorite line, oh *sigh*, loved your picture. I sit here and wonder what would you do with oil pastels? Just perfect Marge!

Mysteria~
Thank you so much.
I do work in pastels ... how did you know ?
Couldn't help this one - it appeared across the lake at sunset.
I'm really glad you enjoyed it as much as I did.

Admit it. You bought the 180 box set, right. I'm taking myself to the Dakota art store, first thing tomorrow. I see no reason why I should struggle with this 80 box set any longer than absolutely necessary. My way of saying: WOW!

Beautiful painting of sunset and the title is priceless!

Curious, are you perhaps in a part of Florida that is blessed with a sunrise and a sunset over the water?

My first visit to the east coast, I've always lived on the west coast, provided me with the opportunity to see an ocean view of each.  It was a delight for me.

It's great to know you do pastels, that is surely why you see and write such vivid images.  Well done, Marge!

It seems I've made an enemy
yet 'twas never my intention
to state a tiny opinion
seems to have mired your attention.

It is unfortunate
that this seems to have occurred
for nothing I might say can help
for naught of it is heard.

Would it be best I bid adieu
to leave this place of sharing
that no one will think more of me
no longer them despairing?
