Where Ego’s Soar

Ego’s soar o’er the glories of war
But child killing child, I cannot endure.
Sung to then a lullaby song
Waving a banner of right and of wrong.

Need is the weed and need is the creed
But child killing child, cannot be the deed.
If we’re to live this species of awe
Then we must enforce a banner of law.

The earth will stay though change as it may
And the sun will play on all but our stay
Foster new birth to welcome as friend
And humanity will come to an end.

But this prophecy may not come true.
It all depends on our children and you.
So teach and preach this gospel to each
For each is an Island, each is a beach.

Each is a statement, genesis goal
And each is a part of one large soul.

Thank you, thank you, seymour! Was just discussing this very issue last night, and you not only said what I was trying to say much more eloquently, but also perfectly poetically!

you sir are a poetic prophet ...
this is a gifted write of wisdom Sy.. truly
but no one need take my word for it ...
your own words offer all the proof.......

'...each is an island, each is a beach', I love this line. This is one I will sit quietly and read...again and again. Thank you.

Sweet Seymour, you have taken the cries from many hearts and woven them into poetic perfection... May your wisdom be heeded.
