I shouldn't be thinking about you
You know that don't you?
I've never really thought about
things like this
You've only existed in certain dreams of mine
Parts of you have come true

Because in this life, I can only have
those certain parts of you
And, I'm being careful not to give
too much of myself
I don't know that you could really handle
that much of me
But you've said that you're not ready to anyway

And, that's just as well
I'm not ready to give myself to anyone yet
Is it just that we're both lonely?
Is this our way of reaching out and being together?
Together yet apart?
Apart yet alone?

I've come to look forward to hearing
your voice in my dreams
I know that I shouldn't
but part of me has become dependant on you
But, do you feel the same?
Has this happened to you as well?
How deep have we gone?
Is it too late to turn back?

I don't know. . .

All I know is. . .
. . . I'm thinking about you again. . .

quit thinking about me, sven.... it gets boring after a while, really.... rofl!!! hehe

but anyway, i dig the poem and sometimes it's hard to get a special someone off of your mind.... i think about that a lot, myself.... *g

and sometimes, though, what's wrong with it? ok go ahead and think about me... it's ok... i give you my permission.... LOL.... *smile

you write from the heart, my friend.... straight from the heart.... nice going with this one.... just say thanks and don't think about it too hard, y'know? *wink*

have a great evening.... i'll be back.... that's no threat... it's a promise!

Sometimes, it is so hard not to think.
Sometimes, there are worse things you could be thinking about.
Sometimes, I'm glad to know I'm not alone in thought.

I can truly relate to this; if I couldn't become lost in my thoughts I'd go nuts!
Thanks for this post, enjoyed

Greeneyes, thank you. . . I'm sure that we all know this feeling. . . it comes I guess from being careful. . . hoping that we can give our heart away again, and not have it be hurt this time. . .

Cerenity, thank you my friend. . .

Kathleen, why can't I become lost in my thoughts for at least a little while??? Thank you. . .

Kit, thank you my friend. . . I'm glad that you always find what you're looking for. . . . . . and thank you for your words. . . I try to weave those things into everything that I do. . .

Oh Sven, just this is so beautiful and romantic, yes, but so filled with deep hurt too, I felt your pain and longing, I too, cannot stop thinking of someone, and it's odd the littlest things every day can spark a memory, and although you pray that you can get that person out of your mind, if you are still reminded of them, you secretly smile...it's a bittersweet torture
Hugs, my friend~

Take care,
Melissa~

Oh My Sven.....

Feelings from the heart, interupted by thoughts from the mind.

I know these feelings and thoughts well....
and you've done a wonderful job expressing these emotions.
I can relate to them well.

Wonderful post my friend!
