Icebergs melting breezeless On the desert’s dunes Questions burning honest Land of hope in ruins Careful contemplation Red lime petrified pain Calculating trouble Wishes cursed in vain Praying please do hear me Carried in your embrace Mental fortitude discontinued Losing life’s great race Footfall’s ugly rhythm Pursued by Satan’s swarm Stopping giving up now Sitting out the storm Rain of scarlet envy Thunder of regret Tears of truth and passion Horrors never to forget Eyes scorching ice bergs Questions of desert sand Answers streaming water Tears in the promised land Always look forward, never look back, dreams are much more refreshing than regrets. |
