darkness falls
my skin begins
to grow cold
and icy.

the snow melts
as it hits my
forehead.

deep within
burning in my
soul. feel
as if i am
growing old

the tress
sway in the
frosty air
so quiet so
calm like
there is
now one
there but
me.

release
me i say
set me free
take my heart
away toss
it in the air

return in
back to me
when i learn
how to take
care.

Fool me once shame on you.....Fool me twice shame on me.....

Nice write here. Your thoughts are formed well.

there is
now one
there but
me.

"take my heart

return it
back to me
when i learn
how to take
care."

That is really neat.  What a thought!
