So much pain and anger,
The threat of a man- a stranger,
Yet little did we know he stole,
What was so important to the soul- my soul.

His role,
Was an unbeliever,
A deceiver in thoughts,
The Devils retreiver.

He blackened the heart,
Changed my mind tinted it with dark,
Trying to fight what I could not,
See, hear, or feel- he left me to rot.

Days and weeks go by,
The torment of voices inside,
Lied to- denied,
Afraid to seek the light for it may make me blind.

The poem expresses feelings of submission, while at the same time, needing to break - away from the same. Enjoyed the write, some nice metaphoric references.

our thoughts and feelings

I'm glad someone can relate to, what some called a difficult write. Although, I encourage many people to reply and tell me how good my poem was- it honestly dont happen much. Not sure if it is due to no talent or just im not a regular around here..*shrugs*
Thanks for the replies.
