I feel the electric waves around me
The collected faiths surrounds me
“I am your god” from every direction
“Pick me I’m the right selection”
“You can watch and buy me on the TV”
“Listen to me, I come in a CD”
Go buy a god on the internet
Or find him out in a blue corvette
In a limousine up in outer space
Or a statue without it’s face
Fill the world up with hollow books
“Page 666 is how a perfect life looks”
The end could come to us tomorrow
So buy a god or find one to borrow

Wholesale Evangelism is not God. Somehow I don't think God needs public relations, and his wares, and goods are not for sale. His wares are trees, mountains, fowls of the air, and the fishes of the sea, and love, joy, peace...His love comes as a free gift. Costs not a thing.

I loved the way this poem goes. It is sooooo true that for $39.95 + s&h you can get this and you can get that, but that's reserved for the exercise gadgets, or cleaners, or cosmetics....the list is endless, but that's not God! It's *MAN* that takes on this wholesale...buy this so you can get God kind of thoughts. Thanks for sharing this. It is sooo true, and I can only imagine what God must be thinking...hehehe He has a sense of humor you know.
