No friends, no nothing, no where to begin
Alone with no one and feelings so thin
Social acceptance is impossible you know?
Rejected from others with nothing to show
Keeping quiet is what I do
I don't want attention, that's all for you
Feeling different is how I feel
I can't help it, but it's all so real
All those times I did abide
This is how it feels, from the other side

Places to go, people to see
Maybe for you, but not for me
5 years ago, I never expected this
I saw friends, a life, and endless bliss
How foolish I was to ever think that way
It only got worse every day
The memories inside that haunt and scare
I can't escape them, they're always there
All the times I tried and cried
This is how it feels, from the other side

Walking around with all this pain
Finding something to keep me sane
Paranoia hits and clutters my mind
The lake I go to sit and unwind
A void that crawls and sleeps within
Anxiety that joins and acts like my kin
This life I live is such a mess
Filled with hate, anger, and lots of stress
All of these things will never subside
Because this is how it is, from the other side

Wow.  I can relate to this right now.  I just had a pretty crappy experience and it seems like you described it perfectly. Nice write.
